>spurs have spent over £60m this summer. now we can forget all the BS about London attracting players. thats true to a degree of course but the bottom line is the bottom line and spurs are expanding and investing. Its a risk of course but whats the way forward? bringing in a few players and one big money signing or paying what is needed and looking like a club on the up. its not salaries thats the issue here but paying the transfer fees. we aren’t doing that and is not gonna take us forward. I doubt Wise and Jimenez are that savvy in the transfer market to pull in some diamonds under the noses of others, they haven’t done yet.
Not promising. Especially seeing Spurs draw with Chelsea this weekend and we took a pasting from Arsenal. Further to that, just took a rough look at the transfers and we spent less than 14 other teams (before United buy Berbatov)
that’s pretty poor.
