>Just saw it. Utterly brilliant. I love a bit of magic realism. Whereas I didn’t Lost in Translation as much merely because it was a story of Americans in Tokyo with some weak references to J culture and some jokes which missed the point, this was a film about India, written by an Indian and while it took certain
elements too far, it’s too good to miss. Slightly breathless still.

However I am not sure it did any favours for the Indian tourist board! It’s commentary on Indian society especially the obsession with money and it’s rigid social status. And that Indian lass…..yes I would and it was cool knowing the answer to the 10m rupee question! Sir Jack Hobbs
